The PAVS Community Connector for the North West is Julie Campbell.

Julie Campbell is our North West Community Connector

I'm the community connector for NW Pembrokeshire an area which includes Fishguard, Letterston, Hayscastle, St Davids and Solva, and an area in which I attend local community events along with fortnightly drop-ins in Fishguard and with PAVS Volunteering and Job Centre/Workways.

I give talks about the Connectors and the Community Hub: recent examples are to the Fishguard Parkinson’s group, the St Davids Macular Society and to the GPs at Fishguard Health Centre.

I run a monthly online Carer’s Support Group and I am the Carer Lead for the Connector Team (we have just achieved our Investors in Carers Bronze award).

I've lived in North Pembrokeshire for 30 years and have been working at PAVS for 10 of those years (I was working with Carers prior to being a Community Connector from January 2019). Previously I was a teacher at Coleg Ceredigion, worked at Women’s Aid and in various care settings.

I live by the sea and love walking my 2 dogs there, two dogs who are now regularly being bossed about by a recent addition to our family: a lovely and very funny rescue cat.
